Hi, my name is Alana Guiney and I founded ARG Consulting, LLC in 2019. I hold a Ph.D. in Health Services Organization and Policy from The University of Michigan.
From a young age, I have loved all things data. I was always the child taking things apart and asking “why?” and “how?” about anything and everything. That’s how I approach data; as something, I want to take apart, solve, and put back together in a way that makes sense. Finding the different ways to make data work for a company is challenging to me.
Before I started ARG Consulting, LLC, I worked in healthcare administration, finding inefficiencies in the paperwork process and creating better ways to understand the patient population. I love data not only for its own sake but for what it can do for a business. Beautiful slide decks full of charts and information don’t mean anything if the underlying data is error-ridden or if it doesn’t tell the complete story.
